#350: Xserver lock up with glxgears when EXA is enabled

With EXA enabled in xorg.conf, I started glxgears and resized the window
up and down a few times. The output got some streaks of bad colour first
and finally the X server locked. Logging in from the network the server
was seen to consume 99% CPU.
The computer is running Debian Sid, updated 16/1, with kernel 2.6.32.
