--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
Reporter: adampaetznick | Owner: somebody
    Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: minor | Component: xdriver
Version: trunk | Keywords: flicker, cursor, glitch
Blocking: | Blockedby:
--------------------------+-------------------------------------------------
After waking from a suspend, the mouse cursor will flicker/glitch
periodically (about every 5-10 seconds). This behavior continues until
logging out (i.e, restarting X) or rebooting. Mouse behavior is normal
after starting X for the first time. Flickering only occurs if the
computer has been suspended during an X session.

This behavior appears to occur in all revisions after and including
changset r838, for which the Changelog says "Fix bug with suspend and VT
switch on VX800 chipset and 64bit systems".
The mouse cursor behaves normally both before AND after suspend for
 revisions before r838, including r830.

 PC: Lenovo Ideapad S12 (Via Nano) - Chrome9 HC3
 OS: Ubuntu 11.04
 kernel: 2.6.38-8
