#411: KDE 4.x and OS freezes with openchrome

Hi,
while starting KDE4 it freezes in the splash screen- neither keyboard nor
mouse is operational. The funny thing is, that when I start wmaker it
works stable. I tried it in Slackware 13.1 x86_64, Slackware 13.37 both 32
and 64 bit. People report the same issue in SuSE.
