Hello All, According to http://wiki.opencog.org/w/CogPrime_Overview#Cognitive_Synergy_in_PLN, i think, i understood the Synergy between PLN and MOSES as follows:
DO BOB visits school regularly? Goal is to find TV. if PLN is not successful in finding, then MOSES will be called. For instance, the PLN controller could make a list of everyone who has been a regular visitor, and everyone who has not been, and pose MOSES the task of figuring out a procedure for distinguishing these two categories. Perhaps MOSES would discover that older males wearing ties tend not to become regular visitors. This info then passes to PLN. when it find some knowledge like, bob is wearing tuxedo and it is not a tie. it will make inferences about BOB. In this way PLN uses MOSES learned rule for making inferences. But i would like to know the role of Pattern Miner here. When does it come to act? How does it work with MOSES and PLN.? How the results of Pattern Miner are being used? Could anyone explain with some example if possible?
