I want to discuss these topics with you. (1) About QOS MAP module, about “sai_cos_port_trust_t”. I want to know the behavior of “SAI_COS_PORT_TRUST_NONE”, is it means that the TC will be output from port? If not, I require a option “SAI_COS_PORT_TRUST_PORT“ from which we can configure TC on port for packets. <Ashok D> Default some TC should get for packets to take default queue. We had attribute called SAI_PORT_ATTR_DEFAYLT_TC. This will be taken in default case. We do not need to add new options. And also in my proposal I removed the SAI_COS_PORT_TRUST_*. I hope you are looking at headers in below link. (2) About POLICER module, I notice that it remark as RFC 2698 for “SAI_POLICER_MODE_Tr_TCM”. It is better to update it to RFC 4115. <Ashok D> I will check and get back on this. (3) Another question is about WRED. If I configure “SAI_QOS_QUEUE_ATTR_DROP_TYPE” as “SAI_QOS_DROP_TYPE_TAIL”, how can I Configure the parameters for TD. It is easy to reuse WRED profile to describe the configuration for TD. But we need explain how to use it. <Ashok D> Tail drop thresholds are defined by QOS buffer profiles. Once buffer limit reaches tail drop will happen. Any discussion are welcome <Ashok D> Let me know any more information, We can discuss offline or over call.
