Howdy and Happy New Year!!! On behalf of the Networking Group, we happy to announce the Call for Presentations for the Engineering Workshop portion of the upcoming Summit on March 10, 2016. This year is a bit different than usual, instead of having a room per project, there are 6 rooms and 33 presentation slots for all projects. This means all presentations will be pitted against each other regardless of project and grouped into different themes such as 'adoption' or 'interoperability' by a committee based on a set criteria (TBD). As y'all can imagine, a presentation without any tie in with OCP or an overtly sales based talk/deck will not fly.
As the system that will be used to collect and rank submissions hasn't been made available yet, we would like to encourage anyone that would like to submit a presentation to send the following to Omar and myself by Jan 28 2016, and we'll submit all of them in bulk: * Title of presentation * Author(s) * Abstract (no longer than 1 page) * If your presentation includes a demo, please indicate the amount of resources required, if necessary Each presentation slot is 45 min (including Q/A). The speakers will be notified Feb 8 and have til Feb 29 to send Omar and myself your presentation. +--+ Carlos
