Hi,
As some of you are aware we launched a Pedestal chassis which can
includes up to 4 Open Rack servers. The chassis 3D is available on
github https://github.com/vejmarie/Pedestal , Thomas in copy is leading
the project feel free to ping him !
The 3D is done using FreeCAD.
We are in the process of pushing this discovery chassis to our sales
tools as to start accepting pre-order to sustain the development.
(Delivery expected around october timeframe, system coming on
https://sales.horizon-computing.com).
I am currently looking for an Open Switch (1U form factor 90-230v), low
cost to sustain the test of this discovery box.
Our price point for the box is low, so the switch must be low cost but
ideally "open", have a form factor of 1U and ideally running with ONIE.
As there will be 4 server only in the discovery box, we need 4 x 10Gbps
and 4 x 1Gbps for management. Any additionnaly port will be probably
extra, but we can accept extra !
