I learned this last night: If you did not create a profile you will not get a voting key. Registering for the email list is not enough.

Hi Carlos,

I didn't received anything except a mail telling me that voting was
open. Does anybody have received the way to vote and there long waited
voting key ?

Howdy,

I want to give everyone a heads up; I received word that it looks like
voting key generation for the networking group is taking longer than
expected (we're the biggest group) and that they will be sent in the
next hour or two.

Thanks.

Howdy,

Today's the start of voting for the next set of co-chairs for
Networking. In the next few hours, y'all will be receiving voting
keys that allows y'all to cast a vote in this election. Each voting
key is tied to your email address and once the key has been used to
cast a vote, it is no longer valid. If you haven't received your key
by 1400 CDT (1200 PDT), please reply to this thread and someone will
help you out.

I wanted to take the time and say that the last couple of years have
been very exciting for the industry.

Since being elected with Omar, our focus has been making open
networking a viable solution and moving science projects into being
industry proven solutions. Take a look at these key OCP
accomplishments that have changed the industry for the better:
* Pick an open networking switch, there's at least 4 NOSes that
support that platform.  This wouldn't have been possible without ONIE;
the defacto method for installing a NOS on a given switch.
* End users can now choose the silicon they want. The death grip
around the vendor's SDKs has loosened with various efforts such as SAI
and switchdev.
* Enabling 'Consumer Reports for Open Networking' for end users to
adopt open networking with confidence.
 https://www.iol.unh.edu/registry/opennetworking
* Open Networking has gained a significant foothold in the data center
with sights on replicating those successes into other closed
networking silos such as campus, branch, and wireless.

And of course, some baseball stats:
* There are 14 officially accepted switches with another 11 in the
pipeline
* Three official software projects (ONIE, ONL, SAI) with another three
in the pipeline (APD, OOM, FlexSwitch)
* OCP L1 Interop Testing has certified 43 configurations with about 20
different pluggables (AOC, DAC, and optics) with many more lined up
for the August Plugfest

All of these key milestones that happened under our stewardship
wouldn't have been possible without y'all.

The power of open networking is real and with y'all's continued
support in OCP Networking, we can ensure open networking will trickle
down to all segments of networking.
