Howdy. I want to provide the minutes from yesterday's planning meeting.
First I would like to thank Agema(Delta) for being a great host. We talked about how last year we did an OCP Networking video encompassing what all we as a community have done (in case y'all haven't seen it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=En21Td19mn0) before the keynote. This year we wanted to do something more interactive and targeted. The first thing we settled was the dates for 2 events: * March 7 (day before OCP Summit) * Later during year coinciding with either an enterprise or carrier conference For March 7, the main focus is ecosystem (datacenter, edge, and CBW (campus, branch, and wireless)) combined with a social gathering as a welcoming and prep for the next 2 days at summit. This event can be viewed as a "dry-run" for the later event during the year. Agema has offered to host this event (max cap of 250 - 300). If there are any other vendors that would like to throw their hat in the ring and can host the same amount of people (or more) and have sufficient space for equipment, feel free to respond and we can decide as a group. For the second event (tbd), the main focus will be ecosystem on a given targeted focus: current thinking is either enterprise or carrier as these areas are seeing the growth as hyperscale and startups have already been doing open networking for the last few years.
