The Open Compute Project Foundation is pleased to announce two keynote
sessions that will kick-off the 2018 OCP Summit.

Aneesh Chopra is known for outlining ways technology can spur innovation,
strengthen America’s competitiveness in the world and solve the vexing
problems facing the domains of health care, education and energy. Selected
as the nation’s first chief technology officer by President Obama, Aneesh
Chopra was tasked with promoting innovation, transparency and collaboration
within the federal government.

As the cloud industry faces new security threats, Aneesh’s insight and
message on Balancing Collaboration and Security is a welcome and timely
topic for this year’s summit.

Andy Bechtolsheim is Chief Development Officer for Arista Networks, a
leading vendor of cloud networking solutions. He previously co-founded Sun
Microsystems <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sun_Microsystems> in 1982 and
was its chief hardware designer. He also has been a venture investor, most
notable for providing Sergey Brin and Larry Page with a $100,000 check in
1998 before the two had even incorporated their company, Google
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google>.

In his keynote, Andy will share his insight into the design of cloud
networks, the upcoming transition from 100G to 400G speeds, and the
evolution of optics to keep up with the explosive bandwidth growth in
hyper-scale cloud data centers.

OCP is extremely excited to have Aneesh and Andy on the keynote lineup.

The rest of the Summit agenda, including more keynote speakers, will be
published in early January. Content to look forward to includes additional
keynotes, case studies, executive tracks from Summit sponsors, industry
announcements, engineering workshops and more! The OCP Call for
Participation received over 150 submissions, which is more than double last
year’s submissions, meaning you can expect the best of the best when it
comes to Summit educational content!
