Hello OCP Community

The OCP PL Election nomination phase has come to a close. We really
appreciate all the thought that has been put in place for our leadership.
Many thanks to David Woolf, Asim Rasheed, Bernie Meier, Brian Obernesser,
Kang-Won Lee and Bryan Larish who have served OCP in the past PL term and
we wish you all the best in your next endeavor! Special shout out to those
PL who love OCP so much that they are continuing on for another term (Omar,
Scott, Steve, Norm, Jorge, John, Siamak, Xin, Rajat, Jia, Lawrence).

This PL election was my first and I was really suprised by the results...
but first a few quick observations:

   - Many companies have come forth to participate this year. I know we
only had a few spots but there will be a lot more opportunity to lead as
more sub-projects emerge and as OCP considers adding more projects so
please participate! We know who you are and we will come knocking when we
   need help!
   - More collaboration has occurred within our thought leadership than
ever before. Just look at our contributions!
   - The caliber and expertise of the leadership is unprecedented - so much
talent that we are humbled and very fortunate to have their time and their
   energy.
   - Some groups have had very new leadership in the past 6 months, either
because they were just incubated or because they were newly revitalized so
we have opted not to hold elections and disrupt the momentum established by
the newly selected leaders. We have confirmed with them that they are still
able and willing to lead so all is status quo there.

With that, this election is NOT really an widespread election. Election
will be held for one Project Group since there were multiple candidates.
The rest of the Project Leadership is running uncontested and have, by
default, been appointed to their respective co-lead roles.

Here are the results - please join me in congratulating our uncontested and
incumbent PLs and in wishing the Telco contestants best of luck!!
