Or is the install script supposed to perform these steps? openprotect-install removes the init scripts for all sysv init type Linux distros like Redhat, Debian, SuSE, Mandrake. For Gentoo, Slackware, it prints about having to remove the init scripts. What were the Distros in which the init scripts were still left after you ran openprotect-install ? cheers, Ganesh, KM.
