Two questions.

1) I notice various files such as bigevil.cf in the mailscanner directory.
The contents of these cf files are repeated in
spam.assassin.prefs.conf.advanced I tried deleting the contents out of
spam.assassin.prefs.conf.advanced and just using the cf files which makes it
easier to update these files. After doing it spamassassin quit using the
rules. It seems that the rules must be in the conf file. Is there a setting
to tell spamassassin to use the cf files ?

2) I read on some website's that you should run "spamassassin -d --lint"
after creating new cf files to find any typos. I do not have a binary called
spamassassin. I tried running spamd but it does not recognize the --lint
option. Is there a way to have spamassassin test it's config files?

Thanks for all your help.
