yep, silly me :) i figured it out an hour after the post. after going through the whole procedure everything is working fine. thanks and sorry for the noise. but i'm curious, why do i have to use tpmtoken_init? 'pkcsconf -t -c 0' showed TOKEN_INITIALIZED which led me on the wrong track. while playing around (initializing and setting PINs) TOKEN_INITIALIZED vanished which made me think the token isn't initialized after all. does the chip returns TOKEN_INITIALIZED even if it's not? regards, -ap ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Special Offer-- Download ArcSight Logger for FREE (a $49 USD value)!
