Sorry for not mentioning the OS. It is on Windows NT using Cygwin.

On RedHat Linux 6.x (glibc 2.1.x), I compiled OSF/MOTIF 2.1.21 and it behaves.

Anyhow it means I should be looking into Cygwin for the problem?

Thanks
Suhaib
