You should probably use OpenDX 4.1.1 if possible.  I can not remember the
changes that occured to Image Magick, but for OpenDX 4.1.0 it is
recommended to use IM 5.1 or older.  See http://opendx.org/news.html

Looking back at my notes for Irix builds, I could not compile 4.1.0 with
IM5.2.2.  I had problems using 5.2.1 for 4.1.1, but those were fixed with
the 5.2.2 release, which I am still using.  I guess I can try 5.2.4 and/or
5.2.5.
