I might suggest that we (Jeff or Dave in particular) add a note to the SGI Irix 6.5 README. As I said earlier, we successfully pulled the ImageMagick 5.2.6 from the IM site, Jeff's openDX build from our site, and jpg/png/etc. as documented in the README from the sgi freeware site.
The only trick thing I had to do was set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to the install directory for imagemagick since we put it in /usr/local due to its general utility outside openDX, and openDX did not search this path for the libraries so would not start until I fixed this. Adding this item to the README might save some hair-pulling later. The implication was that this was not necessary, but it was at least in our case.
