As I said before, I'm going to be working on this, but I'm only going to work on the version that works directly in MacOS X Aqua. I've got the latest XTools installed and its working pretty well--however, there is still no Motif libraries for it and I just don't have enough time to be porting that as well.

Now that the official MacOS X is out, I am back to attempting
a port of OpenDX. Anyone else working on this?

I have compiled OpenMotif and have XFree86
running along side Aqua. I haven't attempted to install XAqua yet,
but, at present, I can flip between Aqua and X desktops with the push of a
button ...
pretty nice.

With a few minor changes, OpenDX
compiles all the way to the dxexec linking stage. For now, I am ignoring
loadable module issues and using the default "unknown" architecture.

The failure of the dxexec link stage is due to conflict with already defined
system malloc
and malloc defined in dx/src/exec/libdx/memory.c. In this file there are some
choices to be made. Anyone have experience with this portion of the code and
have
 recommendations?
