Was there ever a full specification written as to what Regrid does
with objects. I'm seeing some very odd behaviors indeed and would
like to know if it is working the way it is supposed to. This has to
do with "invalid positions" and connections dependent data. To tell
the truth from some of the behaviors I'm seeing, I don't believe
there was so maybe we can hash it out here?
