Gnu tar says that it means to only store files older than a certain
date. I would assume then that it would be okay to remove this.
Greetings,
I am attempting to build OpenDX from CVS on Compaq Tru64 UNIX 5.0.
It does not accept the 'N' option to tar, as supplied here in
html/Makefile.am:
install-data-local:
...
tar xpoNf $$f/pages.tar ; \
tar xpoNf $$f/images.tar ; \
...
What does the N option do? Perhaps 'xpof' is sufficient, and more
portable?
Thanks,
David
