Any of the Odd releases are works in progress (CVS only). The even releases are official releases. There has been enough fixed and quite a delay in the official release so some developers provided dated development releases.

As far as I'm concerned, we need to be looking very soon at a release. The Windows enhancements I've added lately have the Windows version working as well (in fact better) than the old official 3.x version from IBM. Also, the Changelog for this version is getting to be quite extensive. How about it Greg? Do you have somewhat of a scheduled release date in mind?

What are the plans for cutting a new release of OpenDX?
I'd like to update the FreeBSD port to build a more current version
release of the source, but the 4.1.0 tarball (from April last year) is the
latest up on opendx.org and research.ibm.com.

Also, the 4.1.1 version label on the IRIX, Linux, and Win 95/NT binary
distributions is a little puzzling. Was this officially released?
