There are new issues with OS X 10.1 and darwin 1.4.1. This does allow an executive to actually run after being built; but now there is linking problems with the GUI (do to too large static libraries). Apple basically told me to file it as a bug, but I thought this an opportune time to do some code cleanup in the GUI.

Hi David,

I have had very little time to work on OSX port although
I did try increasing the memory limit on the heap with very
interesting effects.

I haven't looked at this patch yet. Does it solve the memory
problems, or are there still issues?
