Okay, I made a mistake about my cleanups earlier. It appears that
everything is okay. Big warning though-- make sure to do a make clean
when recompiling the GUI the next time after updating your tree.
Since the subdirectories of uipp are so intertwined and the .h file
dependencies are not all set up, changes in .h files in one directory
can hose a lib file constructed in one of the others.
I will be working on the uipp directory some more cleaning up
compiler warnings etc. in the other subdirectories.
