[opendx-dev] Thread safe parsing

I've done a little more investigation into how different projects are 
handling the thread safe parsing. It appears that in most projects 
that are making things thread safe or getting rid of the global yacc 
variables, that they have used bison's pure_parser command. That 
means that only bison can generate the .c file. Now for those that 
don't have bison, what do they do? What they do is add the generated 
file to the distribution thus eliminating the need for bison. Would 
this be okay to do for OpenDX? Please advise.
