This would be a problem with LessTif. I would suggest getting
OpenMotif installed instead and recompiling.

I had to recompile Opendx 4.2.0 on Redhat 7.2 because the binary
distributions have
incompatabilities.
I have tried it with the LessTif that comes with the 7.2
distribution and with versions LessTif
0.93.36 and 0.93.41.
Everything works except for the type-in boxes for Page Configure and Save As.
When you Give a page a name, you can never again type something into
that text input box. Same
with Save As. If you save as the first time and save the network
with a new name, the next time
you do a Save As, you can highlight the name you gave the last time
but pressing the keyboard keys
have no effect. You cant replace what you highlighted with any
other string. Nor does the
backspace key work. Do you know what the problem is?
