Thanks. I would have been surprised if you told me that you still had access to an AIX system, but I thought I would ask before doing a build myself.
I realize the most people think about only using DX interactively, and I do using Intel/Linux machines with nVidia cards. But I also do automated/batch production visualization to populate web sites from numerical model results using the same parallel AIX machine that runs the model. A bunch of SMP Power4 or Power3 nodes on IBM's fast switch can generate a lot of images quickly from GBs of data produced on that same machine...

I think I was the only one doing any AIX builds, and now that UCLA no
longer has their AIX systems--nobody has requested that I do it (plus
I no longer have availability to a system).
I would recommend getting the latest CVS. There are a few very good
bug fixes in it and very little new stuff has been added since 4.3.2.
