If you are not very familiar with Cygwin SnapShots and their installation procedure, I would highly recommend
you do not do that.

The Cygwin B21 is actually no more B 21.  Cygnus decided ro declare it as a stable product (Cygwin v 1.0)
and it is now available only on CD.  Visit http://www.cygnus.com/cygwin

The SnapShots are not being numbered as B22, which eventually will become Cygwin  v 2.0, in a year or so.

Also the OpenDx marked for B21 is a very unstable version, you might be better off with OpenDx-4.0.6
for Windows.  The version 4.0.9 is there for testing purposes, not for production.
In a month or so we hope to release another stable binary release of OpenDx for Windows.

Subject: [opendx-general] Cygwin b21

Hi, I'm trying to install b21 of Cygwin right now and would also like to d/l your distribution of OpenDX, however I am am in a bit of trouble with this distribution. I've been looking around and I have not found a straight forward instruction doc for recompiling and installing the newest snapshot of cygwin.  If you know of a place or could give me instruction it would help so much.  I'm excited to see OpenDX!

Sincerely,
