For RedHat Linux 6.x the OpenDx 4.0.2 with real MOTIF 1.2.4 is very
stable. The version 4.0.7 with MOTIF once ina while looses
connection to DXServer (DXSerfer dies). I assume this problem will
be fixed once
the new code with Java is stable.

Speaking for your WinNT, the new version of DX from CVS October
30th,
build with real MOTIF 2.1.12 and Cygwin v 1.0 is also really very
stable (of course this is not on the OpenDx distribution URL yet).
I need
to figure out how to finance the a $400 Exceed 6.2 upgrade cost.
