I noticed that you had requested this before as well. Why do you want
it in /usr/local/lib/dx and not /usr/local/dx. This piece of software
is so significant that it has it's own lib directory, etc. I prefer
it up a directory /usr/local/dx so paths for linking, etc don't have
the extra lib.

I vote for /usr/local especially if that means /usr/local/lib/dx
(rather than /usr/local/dx) as the main directory.
