As long as I'm rambling about cool stuff I have prototyped, I wonder if anyone's interested in ActiveDX, which is a couple Windows OCXs - activeX components, that allow you to integrate DX functionality directly into Windows apps. You can build apps that incorporate DX using Visual Basic, run them in debug mode under VB, and release .exes. I put together a little demo package the other day that contains the the necessary OCX and DLLs, plus a simple little B project (and exe) that demonstrate it. I can post it if people are interested.
