I checked the hostfile and found out that the IP address and the name of
my machine was missing. Now I can start openDX with "dx". Nevertheless dx
often looses connection to the server. Most of the time "Connect to
server" works, but sometimes it seems not to work: I hit "connect", no
error message appears, but when I try to load one of the example programs
dx hangs. Are there any dx option concerning server connection timeout ?
