You need to run configure on the samples directory and then do a make install.

The rpm should have installed a "dx" in /usr/local/bin/dx, then you should have /usr/local/bin in your path.

Hi, all:

I just installed dx on RedHat 6.1, with
      opendx-4.0.10-1.i386.rpm
      opendx-docs-4.0.10-1.i386.rpm
and its samples from dxsamples-4.0.8.tar.

Everything seems working OK except path and samples. I've added a
/usr/local/dx/bin to my path. But whenever I typed dx, I got

/usr/bin/dx: /usr/dx/bin/dx: No such file or directory
exec: /usr/dx/bin/dx: cannot execute: No such file or directory

So I had to type "/usr/local/dx/bin/dx" to start dx.

For the samples, I just untarred file dxsamples-4.0.8.tar.
Do I need to "install" it? There is nothing in the README and INSTALL
files for me to read.

Thanks.
