The samples are basically for the LinuxPPC stuff. Suhaib has these in
the docs for Linux. I will get it fixed, however.
The samples.jar should be the same.
Don't know about the OpenGL stuff.

Hi,
I just tried to install the samples rpm and the latest binary for linux
RH6 and found a few strange things. First installing the samples I get
user dthompsn does not exist - using root
group dthompsn does not exist - using root
...

Then on Upgrading opendx I get
# rpm -Uvh opendx-4.1.0-1.i386.rpm
file /usr/local/dx/java/htmlpages/Makefile.in from install of
opendx-4.1.0-1 conflicts with file from package opendx-samples-4.1.0-1
file /usr/local/dx/java/htmlpages/samples.jar from install of
opendx-4.1.0-1 conflicts with file from package opendx-samples-4.1.0-1
--force will certainly make the install go through, but are the
samples.jar the same?
Finally, am I missing something? I did not yet install the opengl rpm
which Suhaib built, but dx executes fine. If the opengl libs are
dynamically linked then shouldn't this error?
