This is actually a problem with Lesstif. Don't hold your breath for it to be fixed either. I've been told this isn't going to be the easiest code to debug. If you're really concerned about it, purchase a Motif from a vendor like RedHat or start digging into the code to see if you can fix it.

David

Hello,

I've tried to add comments to my VPE, using the
Edit->Add Annotation, which opens the
"Visual program comment..." window.

This appears very buggy to me.
Changing "Text Color:" or "Font:" to something else
than (default), will irreversibly make the comment
not work anymore (text disappears on the canvas and
never shows up again, what ever is in the comment
window).

I've noticed (sometimes!?!) other funny things:

1) the comment window refuses to have lines longer than
a certain lengths (this length can be as short as
   5 characters!).

2) not all the text that is displayed on the canvas,
shows up in the comment window (after double clicking
   on the canvas text).

----------------------------------------

I'm using OpenDX 4.1.0 from CVS (April 8th 2000)
on a Linux RH 6.2 PC (LessTif 1.2 release 0.90.1
and Mesa 3.1beta1).

Regards,

Rob.
