Hi,

   With much help from previous posts to this list, I've managed to get
OpenDX 4.0.10 to run on my NT machine (with Cygwin B20.1 and Exceed 6.1).
However, in working through the tutorial, I encountered some difficulties.
Can someone point out what I've missed?

  In tutorial 1 (example1.net), if I turn on Autoaxes and click on execute
once, I get the error:

ERROR: Image: AutoAxes: Invalid data: #10800

  I get a similar error when I try to connect the colorbar in Tutorial II
(AutoColor2D.net)

Begin Execution
ERROR: ColorBar:  Invalid data: #10800

  Finally, if I try to load the dataset southeastern_topo.dx, (ie. in
Isosurface2D.net) the following error occurs:

ERROR: Import: Invalid data: error reading binary data; 454 items
successfully read (36421 expected) / array starting at data offset 0 / file
'/usr/local/dx/samples/data/southeastern_topo.dx' line 1

  I've checked, and my c: drive seems to be mounted in binmode. mount
produces:

Device           Directory           Type        Flags
c:\usr           /usr                native      text=binary
c:\temp          /tmp                native      text=binary
\\.\tape1:       /dev/st1            native      text!=binary
\\.\b:           /dev/fd1            native      text!=binary
c:               /                   native      text=binary

  Thanks again for all your help!
