Jeff,
Looking at the error, I see that it complains that the .net file is
newer than the Executive. Is it possible she's got two versions
installed and for some reason it's running the older version during
javadx execution?

Susan was having problems running JavaDX from the binaries I submitted to
OpenDX.org. I do not have any problems running JavaDX on my machine and
another machine I installed the binaries on. Here is her email:
I have tried to run the Colorado elevation JavaDx example again. I do see
the dxworker, dxexec and java processes. When Status.html comes up, I can
use the mouse to manipulate the images in the 6 example windows. The
server status, # of visits etc. is correctly reported. I change the
rubbersheet scale factor, go to execute and click on execute once and that
is when the disconnection occurs. I have included the messages from the
Netscape's java console at the bottom of this message. After the
connection, I do a <shift> reload to reload the page and I get the applet
security errors that are at the end of the console listing. Sometimes
netscape core dumps at this point. I am using the netscape version that I
downloaded from SGI version 4.7.
