On behalf of NASA's ESDIS Project, we invite you to attend the
fourth annual HDF-EOS Workshop. Please see our web page at:

The ESDIS Project Office of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center,
is sponsoring the fourth annual HDF-EOS Workshop with the
Raytheon Systems Company's ECS project and NCSA's HDF development
group on September 19-21, 2000 in the Raytheon facility,
Landover, Maryland.
This three day workshop is designed for:
. tools developers
. data providers
. data users
. application developers and programmers
and will include educational sessions, presentations by several
HDF and HDF-EOS users, an experts panel fielding questions from
the audience, many hands-on training sessions using HDF and
HDF-EOS tools and utilities, presentations by software developers
and vendors, topic-specific consultation sessions addressing
current issues in HDF and HDF-EOS, and applications in NASA's
Earth Science Enterprise.
Raytheon, NCSA and ESDIS will provide design and development
details for the next version of HDF-EOS based on HDF5.
In a few weeks we will also post the preliminary agenda listing
speakers, demonstrations and training on the same web site.
