Hello all, I'd like to have some help. I was using commercial DX 3.1.6, and license had expired. So switched to OpenDX 4.1.0. There are two problems:
1) I have "cannot connect to dxexec" problem when I try to open a program from startup widget. The tric of "dx -execonly&; dx -uionly&" and then connecting from ui to exec manually apparently works. My question is if I can take this as a permanent solution. Is there any side effects besides being inconvinient to start up programs? Does this affect performance? 2) The bigger problem I have is this. When I try to start a net file I developed with earlier, it opens but it kills both ui and exec, and error message is Error: Widget class XmSlideBar has invalid CompositeClassExtension record Seems like it has to do with sequencer. I never saw such things for other versions of dx (3.1.6 pro, 4.0.1, 4.0.6). Could any of you tell give me a clue?
