Nancy, Ned,

Thanks Ned you're right.

I still have faith in the data model though! Nancy I ran your example and
looked at the sample network WarpingPositions.net as well as modifying it
so that it took only the output from a construct and showed the
connections. Unfortunately, like Ned pointed out, this is not what I want
to do.

I wonder if someone could answer a question (or a few related
questions) for me?

The dx userguide says the connections are the straight lines connecting
points. Is this equivalent to saying that the connections are "world
lines" in some geometry, or does it mean that connections are necessarily
Euclidean? For example, in cartesian coordinates a straight line is say
the set of all points which satisfy x=1, z=3. Similarly in cylindrical
coordinates we could define a "world line" which is described by the set
of points which satisfy r=sqrt(x^2 + y^2)=1, z=3. Can this type of
connection also be described in the dx data model? Another way to say it
is, can I warp connections, like I warp positions?

Thanks,
Tom
