First you need to check if the data are cell-centered are not. It may be that the you are covering the globe with 2.5 degree averages, but you are interpreting the data as vertex-based (or telling DX that's the case), and thus, missing that last longitude even if it's there. If you are using some popular APIs or formats for storing the data, they don't make this distinction (e.g., CDF, netCDF or HDF) and so, DX doesn't know. If that's the case, I can send you a macro to "fix" it.
If in fact, you really do want to duplicate one end of the earth, then use Slab to isolate what you want to duplicate and then Mark(,"positions")->Compute->Unmark to move the locations to where you want and then CollectMultigrid to put the pieces together. BTW, you might want to a look at some of my old tools and tutorials that work with such data to give you a head start on such things: http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/bonuspak/html/bonuspak273.html http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/bonuspak/html/bonuspak245.html http://www.research.ibm.com/dx/proceedings/cart/index.htm -------------------------- Lloyd A. The longitude range goes from 0.0 to 357.5. When I map this data to spherical coordinates, there is a longitudinal slice missing since the data range only goes to 357.5, not 360.0. So, my question is, how can I add another slice of data to my data field? That is, I want to add an x position of 360.0 whose data values are the same as when x equals 0.0. I don't know what to do to change the dimensions of a field. Thanks for any help. Betsy
