The problem is that you can only have one mdf file loaded at startup. What you must do is combine the two mdf files, for example "cat $HOME/jbw/opendx/Date.mdf $HOME/jbw/dfn/myNewModule.mdf > all.mdf" then use that as your mdf file. This is a feature I had asked for for years and it never changed even though macros you can give it multiple directories.

I tried

DXMODULES=$HOME/jbw/opendx/Date.mdf:$HOME/jbw/dfn/myNewModule.mdf

but DX insists on reading this as one filename, and, of course, failing. I could load the modules individually when I create the new network, but that's kinda lame... 8-).
