...not a solution, just 2 suggestions:
- I don't know how old that libg++ is; check if there are notes in the
installation docs if a certain version of g++ and/or its libs are to be
used or avoided.
- If you compiled DX from the sources yourself: did you use the same
compiler for DX and the libraries it requires? I mention this, because I
had a similar problem with a missing symbol or so when I
compiled/installed it recently, having compiled OpenGL (IIRC) with gcc
and DX itself with xlc (on AIX). Recompiling OpenGL with xlc fixed it
(don't ask me why).
