I have data an a rectangular grid with point ranging from (1,1,1) -> (Nx,Ny,Nz). One of my data fields is an array whose values are either 1 or 0 which represent porous solids present in the flow field. At each point of value "1" I would like to draw a small cube centered on the point itself. Is there any way to do this in DX? Mind you I said centered on the point, so we are not talking about the cubic gridconnections, although I suppose a solution based on the gridconnections would be acceptable. I guess I am not sure how to handle cubes in which some vertexes have values of "1" and others have values of "0". ANY SUGGESTIONS?? Also, I should mention the I do have a two ways that I currently render the media. The first which goes basically, AutoColor -> Image, is too fuzzy. A second goes basically something like Refine -> Include -> ShowBoundary -> SimplifySurface -> Color -> Image ... this works great, but is *unbelievably* slow and frequently runs out of memory on large media. I am willing to sacrafice a little bit in appearance for the sake of speed. My thinking is that if you just rendered the points with a value of "1" as cubes, it would be pretty fast, and not sacrafice to much in terms of quality. Thanks, Fred Phelan ---------- Frederick R.
