You read my mind. That !Import script is what I wrote yesterday. ;-) That appeared to be the simplest option. Takes a few seconds, but the final version will be in C in a DXcallm program, so that should help. |This reminded me of a project I did 6 years ago where we had the whole |NYS elevation and landuse, veg map, etc. to work with ... the corners of |that rectangle were passed to a "!import" routine that externally |subsetted from the complete coverage data sets ... aBut as I say, my |problem was easier since I didn't have to tile on the fly. It sounds like almost the same project, from a loading perspective at least. I don't have to tile on-the-fly though; I did it to make the dataset sizes manageable and loading more straightforward.
