o.k., I appreciate the sarcasm.
I have re-done the installation EXACTLY as the readme file states:

1) cygwin has been installed and performs correctly
2) opendx-cygwin has been extracted to /usr/local by the tar command

I still get this dxworker not found error, is there some PATH variable
that I am missing?
