this is a pretty simple network; I don't see much that could go wrong with it. What sort of error messages are you getting? Is it possible it's as simple as hitting an "enter" in the string field to make it "take"?

There are two control inputs: a file name and a format name (from FileSelector and String) However, from the error messages, I found that the String module did not get updated from what I typed and thus did not input correctly to ReadImage module. Any idea what was wrong?
