HOw about instead of double clicking on the batch file, you open a DOS shell (comamnd shell) and cd to opend\bin directory and type menu at the command prompt. See errors it returns. if nothing happen, then still it must have set the correct PATHS, now you can type dxui to see if DXUI Window comes up or reeeturns an error.
