To merge two scalar values into one vector, send each scalar value
into a Compute and then use vector construction, an expression like:
[a, b]
David
I recently make some modifications to a CFD code and now I'm able to
visualize all multigrid fields calculated (thanks, Lloyd Treinish).
The converter writes all fields as scalar fields. The problem arises
when I want to visualize streamlines (but strangely I'm able to plot
correctly the velocity vector field).
My question is that: is it possible to "merge" two scalar fields
(namely the x and y-component of the velocity) into a single vector
field?
Another (less important) issue: as I use one Visual program to visualize
results obtained with almost all simulations, there's a way to be asked
of the dx-data file to be opened when I run the visual program, instead
of having to change manually the "FileSelector" dialog?
Thanks and best regards
