[opendx-users] Running OpenDX on Athlon chip

The Readme file for the Windows version of OpenDX v4.1.1 contains a warning 
that the version may not perform optimally on non-Pentium Chipsets. I want to 
run DX on a Gateway AMD Athlon 1200 running Windows ME, with a 64MB DDR Nvidia 
GeForce 2 Ultra graphics card.  Is anyone running DX on an Athlon? With this 
configuration?
Is there a problem running DX on this hardware using RedHat Linux 7?
