So you are doing this on Windows and not a variant of Unix? What are the parentheses needed for? If they need to be passed into the program, you may need to pass it so the value includes the quotes.

The format template is !%s %s %s %s %s %s

The first string is the path to an .exe file to import, the second string is
the path to a data file, and the next four strings are parameter names.

An example of a parameter name that won't work is "BTempDiff (3.7-11um)"

Do I have to get rid of the parentheses ?
